Those beds from Hästens are wonderful! Handmade, containing pure natural materials and those pretty checkers, it's almost impossible not to cuddle up on it. The Scandinavians have known that for a long time.
In the German-speaking market, Citybeam was tasked to create awareness and to reach new target groups. The goal of the Swedish family business was to revamp the stores and open up the new "Hästens-Welten" in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We worked for 6 years with Hästens.
The most important goal with this project was getting people into bed. Whether for journalists, bloggers, or influencers: We wanted to make this project tangible. Therefore, we created several sneaky store events and tempted our guests with a quick test ‘lay down’. We talked to experts about sleep, design and health benefits of good sleep to provide key-media with engaging stories. Meaningful press-releases provided a continuous presence of the Hästens brand in editorial departments.

We were provided inspiring insight during a press trip to Hästens production facility in Köping. Participants were editors and bloggers from living & style departments: H.O.M.E., DECO Home, Schöner Wohnen, Living at Home, Sleep Magazin, AnneLiWestBerlin, TWEED und Stilsucht.
